To Non-Point Source Pollution

Since 1990, the Arkansas Soil and Water Conservation Commission (ASWCC) has been the lead agency for Non-Point Source (NPS) pollution management.  Through grants funded by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the ASWCC provides assistance to conservation districts, academic institutions, state government agencies, and other organizations, groups, or entities.  The ASWCC accepts workplans  for projects to manage, reduce, or abate NPS pollution.  Workplans are accepted October 15^th thru November 30^th and those awarded a grant award are notified by January 31^st.
