Types of Assistance:

Loans (5.00%)

Grants

Deferred loans - (5.00%) Interest waived for up to 10 years and payments on principal deferred for up to 10 years.

Joint Ventures - Commission becomes co-owner of the project.

Conditions of assistance are determined by comparison of the proposed water rates to the medium household income (reference comparison figure chart). Allowances are made for greater than state average incidence of low income, elderly persons, or unemployed. (Reference special needs criteria chart).
